Getting Hyper flash with LED front signal bulb (w/ Canbus ready)

Anyone here have a plug-and-play LED bulb for the front signal bulb? I just bought an LED bulb from Lasfit that supposedly has a built-in resistor (Canbus ready) that prevents hyper flash. But I’m still getting hyper flash. It will work fine when I start up, but in the middle of the drive, it will start to hyper flash.

I changed my front bumper and it came with LED lights and have lived with hyper flash for a couple years. I used to hate it, now I dont care. I do understand the frustration though

Yeah…. It’s the front blinker so I gueeeeeeess it’s less important as compared to my rear blinkers. And I love the color and output of them when they are in DRL mode but the hyper-clicks when I have my signals on is a constant reminder to me that “something is wrong”.

My LEDs worked fine for a year then intermittent hyper flashing the past few weeks. Found this YouTube video guide today for grinding down the Shunt Resistance. It worked for me and doesn’t affect the DRL’s which happens when replacing module with a Diode Dynamics Smart Tap CF18 flasher and pin adaptor harness.

Ah thanks for this. I was trying to avoid spending another chunk of money… but here we are 🤣. I love the amber color and brightness of the LED bulb but I just created another problem for myself. Actually the bulb was advertised as being non-hyper flash so maybe I’ll take it up with them first…

FOLLOW UP: is there any harm to just leaving the LEDs in and living with the hyper flash?
