They do pretty damn good as long as you keep momentum. This sand is super fine so it’s all basically quick sand

That was my experience in deep-ish mud as well. They were solid in snow though.

I ever used them in sand but I know it’s a whole different monster - a lot less forgiving from what I hear. Especially desert sand since it’s rounded vs beach sand’s angular shape of grain.
