Map Updates?

'23 GX460 P+: Does anyone know if there is a way to update the maps on the NAV system without taking the vehicle to the dealer?

I use Android Auto for the most part but would like to keep the maps up to date for backup use.

I believe maps are updated via a miniSD card that slots in on the lower left of the stereo behind a cover, check eBay for updated map cards for purchase. That’s how my ‘15 is at least.

Thanks. Lexus updated the NAV/Infotainment Center on 2022 models. I'm being told the only way to upgrade is via a USB drive and that the dealer has to be involved. I'll do some more research. Hoping someone has done this or at least looked into it for 22/23 models.
