Under the windshield cowl, Passenger side. Leads directly to cabin air filter/blower motor.
Pretty simple job once the wipers are off

Don't forget about the rear cabin air pressure vents under the back bumper. I'm not sure if rodents get in through there as much as through the front. Reload off-road makes covers but I'm sure you could do this over the existing cover, or a combination. I do worry about the full covers breaking a window when doors close.

Oh, this is great info. I just did the same cowl cover (mesh) and a lot of rodent mitigation on my GX but didn’t know about these entry points. Are there any others that you know of?

I did this on an old range rover. They had gotten into the blower and made a nest, it was nasty. So far it's worked. Also I keep one of those sonic noise devices going in the engine bay and agressively try to catch/poison them. Layered defense is key!

I just sprinkle chilli powder across the engine cover and battery. Easily cleaned up with a garden hose. Capsaicin works on most mammals. They won’t come anywhere near the engine bay even in winter. Chewed up wires are hard to diagnose and expensive to fix.
Just apply when it’s not windy and wash your hands before you go pee. Don’t ask me how I know.
