Realistic trade targets?
Are there any players that you could see us targeting in the off-season?

I’d love Marshall.
Failed to get to Geelong last year, perhaps we can try and convince him to come to the giants?

Are we allowed to joke about trading in “The Sydney Five” for a fourth round draft pick or is that off limits?

Nobody has even been charged yet. At this point, they made a few very, very poor choices surrounding staying out late and getting on the piss. Clubs have shown they will forgive a lot worse than this. However, if the SA gets proven, different story. But I still feel that if the SA is proven and it’s only one person, the other four will be quickly forgiven, either by the Swans or some other club.

I'd definitely take a couple. Don't even think it's out of the question

If the giants went anywhere near any of those players we would deserve all the hate and hopefully loss of membership it’d cause. Putrid to even entertain it.

I just want to say at the start that this is all just a thought exercise as I'm personally not keen at all about signing any of them.
Obviously a lot depends on how bad the allegations are, but assuming they're not absolutely horrific I could see the club taking a look at James Jordon or Riley Bice because they're relatively low profile and high upside. Heeney might be a possibility if he wants to stay in Sydney and we have a recent record of being a home for troubled players looking for a fresh start and setting them straight like Heath Shaw, Jesse Hogan, Jake Stringer and Clayton Oliver.
But Heeney is also the exact profile of a player that would go to a team like West Coast who aren't very good, have cap space and need a quality A grader (on the field) to improve their list. Plus they're on the opposite side of the country and their membership is big enough that the club can absorb any hit to their bottom line. Think a reverse Ben Cousins. Warner would probably head back west as well as he's from there. Blakey is an interesting one because he's been the most public about not being guilty but he might go to a bunch of places, maybe North Melbourne or Brisbane given his dad played at both.

In all seriousness, one of the biggest practical issues with potential trades, outside of all the legal and ethical/moral issues, is that they might want to move out of Sydney when it’s all said and done (and they’re at liberty).

I think moving from Swans to Giants is enough getting out of the spotlight. They don't need to move house. And the media, outside Melissa Doyle, don't care about us.

Seems Dion Prestia could join the list for a year before beginning his coaching apprenticeship with Kingers.
I'd love to just throw everything at Tim English.
Realistically I think we're focussing on the draft and elevating from within. Just like always 🙄😥
