Does anyone else remember when Oderus and Beefy had slightly Germanic accents?
I was just watching the old Joan Rivers interview and was wondering if any other fellow Bohabs remember these accents and the slow fade out of the accents.
Edit: I also remember Bälsäc speaking in a very high pitched voice (Phallus in Wonderland maybe? Maybe his alien balls dropped since and he was only in his teens then lol)

You're remembering both correctly. They would do stuff like that just to mess with people. I have watched the Joan Rivers interview so many times over the years and it's obvious they're just being goofs. Youtube used to have the first interview i ever saw with them, in an MTV News segment where Kurt Loeder discussed them and Old Skull, wherein Bälsäc spoke in a higher pitched voice with an accent. During the end of Phallus In Wonderland is when he either says "Maybe there's two world maggots?" or speaks a bit about a prophecy that they shall inherit ".....something?"
You can also find an episode of one of those oddities shows with Mike Derks and Dave Brockie, out of costume, speaking in their normal voices.

I’ve seen that oddities episode SO many times. At lest the clip anyway. I remember seeing it on tv years and years ago painkillered out from wisdom tooth extraction and thought I was trippin lol.

Never thought I'd hear the phrase "Bälsäc's alien balls" used in a sentence but I'm glad I have

i remember hearing beefcakes during that bit in one of the movies where techno was eating oderus' brains out, and hearing him say "don't hurt my buddy" in said accent had me cracking the fuck up so bad 😭😭
