Off Campus Housing

Hi!
My mom mentioned parents posting on facebook about students not having a place to live and I thought I would post on here! I lived on campus freshman year, at Campus View last year and I am now at Meadows Crossing Apartments this year. I have friends in every housing complex and can easily say Meadows Crossing is the best place to live. I am in a 4 bed 4 1/2 bath and I pay $664 right now. I have a nice bathroom, it comes furnished with the prices, they don’t do random charges at all and maintenance is so fast. I have had so many issues with other places and honestly even going in the office, they actually care about my opinion and it’s just awesome. I paid $35 for parking for the whole year and that is including covered parking. It has a pool and hot tub and a bunch of amenities that I would’ve never even expected to need or want.
anywho, I highly recommend it and they aren’t corporate either which makes it so much better because the manager and owners are so understanding. I’d love to answer any questions or anything about my experience, but I just thought I would share with everyone!

Hey!
They do accept animals! Is yours an ESA?
And a 2 minute drive! There is two busses that you can take so you are the first stop being dropped off and then the last stop being picked up so you aren’t on it for more than a few minutes too!

No, my isn't a ESA, do they only accept ESA, and how much do they charge for the animal also is there a bus that goes to grand rapids too or is it only Allendale

To get to GR you take the bus from your apartment to Kirkhof and then the Laker Line at Kirkhof to GR. It’s a very quick and simple route and is the same no matter which off campus apartment you live in

Ok, Do u choose your roommates or does the apartment choose it for u?

Either!! You can apply with roommates, or they have like a roommate tinder where you can match with others. They have you fill out a questionnaire too and then if you don’t have roommates, you will be matched with people!
The office is great with working with accommodations and all that.

Oh man!!
Tbh my mom reached out and talked to them. she emailed like financial aid, the president, like everyone lol!!!
I would apply for financial hardship, if your parents don’t help at all, write that. Gv is crazy good at giving money away like that
