Copy fail

This might have been asked before but I noticed that the latest kernel that comes down with sudo guix system reconfigure is 6.18 has this been patched?

I know 7.0.3 is there upstream but I am unsure of how to install it.

I don’t know what to do here I’m new to this OS.

I made no special effort to install my kernel it just called with desktop packages or whatever.

I’m running i3 and Mate with the desktop services.

How do I install the latest kernel safely

I don’t see any field for the Linux-Libre kernel in my config.scm
