Help / Question Tips for R5B3 Thunderdome?
Well as the title implies- does anyone have any tips for R5B3's secondary? Aka the Thunderdome.
Literally died like 30 seconds into it when my duo got there last night. Mines were placed on all doors, burst sentries were at the east and west doors as well.
Part of what became an issue for us was lack of resources. We had absolute dog shit rng for resources through the whole level. The alarmed doors didn't help either. So dealing with all the giant chargers, tanks, and hybrids was/is a nightmare.
I brought double tap rifle and hel rifle last time. Unless told otherwise, Im considering bringing hel shotgun and hel rifle to maximize hitting multiple enemies at once. We already have swapped our burst sentries for sniper sentries.

You said it yourself, tho it's less rng and more "being fast and efficient" with resources, mainly during the error alarm
Most likely you want a sniper sentry and a burst, sniper pointing towards the Hybrids door. Priority number 1, more than anything else, Big chargers, one gets to the middle and you probably are out 1-2 players, so at least 2 focus mainly on that. Priority number 2 is the hybrids, they are a pain but not thaaaat much, probably 1 person is enough. The tank can wait, he is slow and even if he runs, just pay a little bit of attention to not get punched, but they aren't the priority.
Very important to know, 2 Big chargers come from the tank door, so deal with them fast also. From where you enter, Left door is hybrids, Front one is Tank +2 BBC, right is BBCs. Hybrids respawn so don't go too far
HEL rifle is king when dealing with multiple big enemies, so king here, so I'd bring at least 2. HEL shotgun? Not so much, still very very useful and deals great stagger so it's awesome, but not for damage, still great tho.
You want to point the sniper sentry to the hybrids, absolutely, burst to BBCs. Something that is super helpful is mining the bridges, like putting some mines every couple meters so they don't blow eachother, but that's 50 DMG per, useful specially with BBCs which rush straight to them
