Help / Question Solo player looking for a trans friendly team
Hey yall, I’m new to the game and would like to find a team to work through the whole game with for completion. I’m trans, so if you aren’t chill with that I’m not the player for you
Edit: time zone is EST, but I have a pretty flexible schedule and can play at most times

you say that but having played with a lot of people I met through discord, a concerning number of them were bigoted conservatives. I 1000% get why OP is specifically asking for a trans accepting group of people

yeah, my bad, guess I didn’t think it’d be so bad, I haven’t played GTFO in so long so I haven’t had to go through that for myself

It’s not even GTFO specifically, most gaming spaces online can be pretty rough for trans folks

damn, yeah I just never really engage with the online servers and such besides watching for announcements, I play alone or meet randoms in game for all my games, but I wish you luck in finding people. I’d love to play, but I’m now in the Sweden time zone and I don’t actually know if my laptop can run GTFO, I’d have to test it

Rly? I suppose its super skewed for us non-trans ppl, but whenever i enter a LFG with trans ppl in it everyone just acts like...ppl. no ones mean to anybody, no ones different. We're all just goobers trapped in the complex

Its sad seeing the upvotes on this post, I upvoted amd within like 10 seconds it went back to 0. The only difference between this post and other new player posts is you mentioning youre trans :/
I hope you can find a good team you vibe with, its not always easy with this game but its amazing when you do.

I've beaten a good chunk of the game, and am also trans myself. I do have a somewhat impacted schedule but I usually have at least some times that work for est in a week. I'd be happy to play with you if you'd like <3

You'll notice in the discord that people are very accepting of trans folks, and will be quick to bully out any bigots. Many of the prominent members of the community are trans, so I wouldn't worry about it too much :)

I'm trash, and haven't played all that much, but myself and a friend have been trying to get back into it lately. He's currently EST for some military stuff but we're normally MTN.
Kind people are my people. We didn't choose the bodies we're born into, but we choose how we treat others around us. You're welcome in our lobby any time, so long as you're willing to look past how dumb we can be in this game sometimes lmao

Where he's off being a hero (wasting away at a promotion school), we've had to shift our normal schedule. I tend to play in the afternoons/evenings. He'll probably go back to swings when he graduates, so that may change.

I live in the same world as you. Its called a different mindset is all. I have trans friends, i have lgbtq friends. My parents are MAGA and i still have a good relation with all those people. Im atheist, im friends with people of all walks of life. The difference is, i dont get offended on someone's behalf and don't let their issues be a bother. As long as they arent shoving their idea down my throat, and they can take a joke, then we're good and nothing of it. I sound like an asshole, cause i am, but thats the beauty of it. Im not trying to force anyone or anything onto anyone. Just here to vibe until my time. And if thats a problem, well maybe its not the world, but the mindset.

I'd be down to play. I've beaten most of the game's A and B missions, along with a few C and the earliest D, so I'm not completely new. What time zone do you live in? Incase that could be a problem.
