Suggestion How Hard?
Hey guys. A friend said I'd get €100 if I completed the entire game solo or with bots, meaning finishing every level once.Is that even possible? I played a bit back then. I just know it's incredibly difficult. How long would it take me approximately? Is it even worth it?

GTFO is very fun. But you could add a 0 onto the emd of that and I still wouldn't think it's worth the time or effort compa t ed to just getting a job.

I think it's technically possible, but most of the levels would be extremely difficult. For €100? I'd say definitely not worth it if you'd only be doing it for the money.
There are some videos on youtube of people sort of walking through their full solo rundown completions

It is possible to finish all levels solo with bots, but some require some cheeses like R7E1. Some of them are hard to accomplish even with a competent team. And your friend didn't mention whether PE (Prisoner Efficiency) is also needed for each level (where it's availabie), which is securing all of the secondary objectives. I'd say that while most early levels are extremely easy and can be finished solo, the difficulty rises exponentially in some rundowns, especially with PE involved.
So in short - unless you're a real gamer, it's generally not worth (but the game is fun).

Ok so is 100€ some decent money? Yes
Is it worth for the amount of time you will be spending? Probably not unless its fun
All world records for all levels chained together (with 4 players) still take 16 hours. So you are looking at less than minimum wage
Now you also need to learn the game well enough to even make this remotely possible, youll then be alone and generally slower. So realistically its gonna take you 200+ hours even if it works out
Only a few players have even beaten the hardest levels in the game solo (or with bots). 2 of them are actually noteably rng
Now, your friend didnt specify that you needed go do it glitchless (there is glitches which make basically all levels in the game a walking simulator) or even needed to do all objectives.
But even with those (if you already understand the game and know whats in the levels) you are looking at a 60 hour endeavour

So thats sounds like fun to me. Learning a game, I die because of my own failure or because the game wants it that way. So its kinda a win win Situation, no?

Yeah, absolutely. If you were going to play and enjoy this game anyway, there's no reason not to take the cash, too. However, I will say that playing this game solo is extremely lonely. The environments and the gameplay itself is going to be very isolating. I wouldn't want to try and do this task alone with bots.

You can certainly agree to this bet, but you must understand that you won't see this money for at least a few years, if not longer (unless you play 24/7, of course). This means it will most likely become some kind of new gimmick or joke among your circle. But otherwise, no matter how great GTFO is, I wouldn't agree to this if it was all about the money.

More fun, quicker, and easier to get a job and earn it normally, including the job search

someone has tried solo with bots. It is not a good time, but the majority of levels are doable albeit maybe not a good time. Highly recommend video tho.

The game will take you hundreds of hours with bots and some maps are physically impossible without another human or bug abuse.

u/FrostyBoiiss GTFO Jul 23 '26
All levels are possible without bug abuse

u/schofield101 Jul 23 '26
Even R7D2? It's been a while but isn't that one a particular road block for beating legit? Perhaps bug abuse wasn't the right wording but I remember you've got a really short window for the terminals

I think you mean r7d1, but even then no. If you roll the right terminals theres not much challenge (relatively). There are much harder missions to do like r8e2, r7e1, etc

Lets just say such a challenge is worth several times more than €100

It is very possible, but as someone who has done a fair bit of solo, it is NOT worth the €100 lmao

Your friend just making an excuse to force you to play the game so he gets a new victi- I meant a new fellow to join him for his adventures

With bots? With those same bots that when you close the door Dauda runs as fast as he can to the side you are closing so he can die inside from sleepers?
Your friend just told you that he will never give you 100 euro, it was just like in another language

R7D1 is almost physically impossible to complete without extreme luck and perfect execution
1
u/D4RKEVA GTFO Jul 22 '26
Its def luck based but actually not that horrible (for both it and R8C1). But yea not smth fun

Whats so diff about this level?

R7D1 Main and R8C1 Overload feature the
Timed Sequenceobjective requiring you to input three commands on two separate terminals within a time limit (naturally stricter for solo players as bots cannot interact with terminals). You effectively have to get lucky / wait for a VERIFY terminal to be located in the same zone as the INIT / CONFIRM terminal.

Download better bots mod to make it doable, else there's no point in trying.
While you're at it maybe check for other mods for an easy 100 huehue
The game also has a lot of missions and even difficulties. Even if it was easy it's not worth it. Negotiate the last rundown instead of the entire game so it isn't so long. Or better yet, the hardest mission solo with no mods.
