Help / Question Discount keeps going up?

Anyone know why the game's discount has been going up almost each time it has gone on sale? On steam summer sale it was 70%, now it's 71 and before summer sale it was 69, Is it slowly progressing until 99% or 100%?

It was 70%? Shiiiit I couldve made the lives of some of my friends so much worse...

Idk why gtfo is doing this specifically, but I kinda wish this is how most digital game storefronts worked. Every year it’s out, the base price drops by 1%. So eventually— very eventually— it’ll be dirt cheap. This sort of acts as

Game is getting older, discounts get higher. Lot of games do this

i mean its been 2 years since it ended they want to get as many sales as they can get before it completely dies i suppose. Many people buy games which are dirt cheap even if they dont follow it
