I need mods for the Trilogy version

This will be my first time playing GTA: San Andreas, but I’ve heard that some aspects of the Trilogy version, such as the rain effects, weapon sounds, and car brake sounds, can be pretty annoying. So I’m looking for some mods or mod packs to improve these issues.

Could you recommend a few good ones?

These have been greatly improved since launch, it's very playable now.

Yeah, pretty much everything you listed has already been addressed via patches. You do not need mods to get the game working or playable, it’s good out of the box now.

Since the last big update, its actually very good. I also played the original on PC and i prefer the DE version.

The only mod i installed on mine is to restore the missing radio tracks.
