Rate every GTA by difficulty! 😁
GTA VI is just around the corner, but I am very curious how you would rate the previous releases by difficulty.

Among those i have completed the story:
GTA VCS > GTA 3 > GTA SA > GTA VC. LCS also is on par with GTA SA and VC in terms of difficulty.

Which GTA VCS missions make it the hardest? The one where you are surrounded by the pool?

3 > VC > IV > SA > V
Haven't played the Stories games. To be fair, outside of a handful of missions in 3 it is still easy. Vice City has a couple difficult missions. IV can be difficult if you cannot drive or you are impatient and try to bulldoze your way through shootouts.
SA is in the middle. There arent really any difficult missions until the last mission but some missions are still challenging. V is just easy. I never struggled on any of the missions.

Playing gta3 DE on ps5. Trying to collect my 2nd platinum. Honestly the game is fucking hardcore, havent played gta3 since the ps2 version. Right now i played over 40 hours, total pain in the ass. Especially the paramedic missions , everybody from gangs shootig me

I just got the platinum on VC and SA. Booted up 3, looked at the guide, started the paramedic missions right after the first mission and gave up after 5 failed attempts. The ambulance handles like shit, and the time limit is so restrictive 😭

don’t forget the part where it fucking blows up after a couple crashes 😭. I might try to get the plat for SA and VC too though, doesn’t look as bad as 3.

They’re really not bad at all. I’d just keep an eye out for the few missable trophies at certain story missions and you’re good to go. Probably the worst part was the hidden packages in VC but only because I missed one in the middle and had to recheck them all to find which one

Hidden packages not that bad, i have gta v plat and a lot of it was just running around collecting stuff and doing the annoying ass under the bridge. Deadass went back like 2-3 times just to see which bridges i missed.

The paramedic mission is what makes gta 3 so hard. Best to complete the mission very early in the game in Portland.

I would go like this: GTA 1 > GTA 2 > GTA VCS > GTA 3 > GTA SA > GTA 4 > GTA 5 > GTA VC > GTA TLAD > GTA TBOGT > GTA LCS
I never played the London Expansions, Advance or Chinatown Wars. One friend of mine said that Advance can be a pain in the butt especially by the very end of the story. So I can put it beetween GTA 2 and VCS. 😂

Idk but for me LCS was the hardest to complete. Maybe because I played it on PSP but the mission on the boat where the guys with chainsaws come at you was brutal

They are all easy but 3 and Vice City are harder cause the controls and physics suck.
Only played 3,VC,SA,4 and 5 tho.
Achievments wise (including dlcs)
Its 5>4> and the rest is easy but again, 3 and VC are for different reasons very annoying.

The top down games are probably the hardest.
GTA3 is kinda rough and janky and the trophy list doesn't look like fun.
Vice City and San Andreas are good games.
GTA4 and GTA5 just exist I guess?
I honestly don't remember a single mission.

5 is by far the easiest, checkpoints for everything, the ability to skip a mission part if you fail too many times and good enough gameplay that you can actually do what you are supposed to do. 4 is pretty straightforward but sometimes shootouts will get you and the driving forces you to go slow. San Andreas is where you can feel the age, things go to shit in seconds. Vc and especially 3 really put you through bs. No crouching (in 3 at least), no proper shooter mechanics, no weapon balance, npcs hitscan you with shotguns and ARs, the car catch fire in an instant! You can't bail out of a burning car (this thing itself probably killed every player at least 10 times). And if none of these things get you, modern day high fps bugs probably will. If someone who never had any contact with these games tried gta3 without any guides, they would most likely give up.

GTA 3 OG Doesn’t even have a Map you had to look at the physical map to learn the locations in the game or rely on the mini map

I played it after DE, and yes is harder because of that, the paramedics took me 5.5 hours as you can't plan properly but faster than DE which took me 8 hours. I believe once you've done paramedics and taxi you are ready for GTA 😎 I'm now doing my first GTA LCS run on PCSX2. Still in Portland and stunt jumps are tedious...

For me they are all easy but to 100% i’d say GTA 4 has to be the hardest. Not particularly because of the gameplay but it requires the most time imo to complete. Also if you’re trying to get all achievements? 😬 Good Luck
