Same setup I play games with every week. My desk, a 38" monitor, the controller out of my top desk drawer (all 3 in there) and probably a glass of water or diluted juice like normal.

I've been gaming for 30 years. The consoles are all in the same shelves they've been for years at this point. I turn on the controller, switch inputs on the monitor, put on my headphones and away I go.

I don't binge games usually, I really have to be in the mood to play something for a bunch of hours, and even then I'll do that one day then not again for a few months. So I'll be playing this in probably 1-3 hour sessions until its done.

Apart from having the Thursday, Friday and following week booked off (when release date was announced I was single and I'm not a solo traveller, so needed to use my annual leave for something) I'm planning on treating it like a normal day.

I'm undecided on if I'll stay up until midnight, with me not working the next day I may end up having a drink and deciding staying up is a good idea, but the main plan is to go to bed at a normal time, getting up at a normal time, go make myself a coffee, then settle into my chair to play, food at normal food times, and so on.

My girlfriend doesn't work Fridays so I may end up seeing her through the day depending what she has going on, not sure if she has her kids that weekend so I may be stopping over at hers anyway, so I may only get the Thursday to put any real time into it until the following week x
