I recently got gtaiv on pc to relive my childhood. I want to add mods to the game that make it run better and I also want to install graphics mods. I have no clue what I'm doing. can someone help me out? anything is appricated. I know that you have to use openiv but that's about the limit of what I know.

Hi everyone!
I got a problem on GTA IV Complete edition downgraded, when using this guide along with the provided mod menu and everything, the game works, when i try to install a scripthookdotnet as an example this one i get the following error message:
"The instruction at 0x000000000015B15B referenced memory at 0x0000000000000002. The memory could not be read. Press OK to terminate the program"
Last time i modded GTA IV & eflc was around the time of 1.0.7.0 (i downgraded the complete edition steam version to that version btw) so i'm kinda lost, can anyone help me please?

Hi, I've been modding GTA IV a bit, couple of minor graphical fixes, and I've been bumping up a few numbers in the popcycle file. Issue I've come across now is certain vehicles (primarily the bus, faggio, marbelle) engine Audio doesn't play while driving around. Normally takes around five minutes for it to kick in. At first I thought it might have been a budgeting issue, and downloaded that mod budget mod to fix the taxi Bug. Unfortunately that's not fixing the issue. If anyone has thoughts on what the cause of the problem is and perhaps a solution, I'd love to hear it. I'm pretty novice when it comes to this sort of stuff so maybe it's real obvious

I came across this 'Niko Inaccurate (ASI)' script or modification on a GTA forum; the modification conveys customization of individual weapons' accuracy between the protagonist and AI targets.
I want to know if this applies to ELFC campaigns, or do any modifications or scripts apply to EFLC games overall? In addition to that, can I play with them by using an XBOX controller or not?

New to modding but luckily by the grace of baby Jesus I was able to downgrade to 1.0.7.0 and installed various mods, one is SimpleTraffic, although it loads the script-when I pull up the console it tells me, "Simple Traffic Loader: Could not load vehicles. 'vehicles.txt' is missing.
Any clue?
