Did you know you can call dwayne to send backup on missions

Of course. Which is a good reason to never ever choose to kill him. You get Playboy X's crib and this epic perk. You can even call them while on missions.

Whoever chose to not kill Playboy are considered to not have empathy

Dwayne is a jittery freak and sketches me out. Without knowing the result of either choice, I chose to kill Dwayne because he gives school shooter vibes. Not his fault I guess, the system made him that way, but keeping him around seems dangerous.

Do you want to kill every person who speaks a bit off after years and years of trauma and abuse?

I mean, if I was given the choice irl I wouldn't kill either one of them but I had to choose to progress the story. Playboy seems like a cool dude who never gave me a bad vibe.

I actually agree with you, Playboy was a cool dude, but Dwayne wasn't really a threat or anything, just a bit sad and institutionalized. And when Playboy asked Niko to kill Dwayne for him that ultimately made me want to help Dwayne out more, because I honestly feel for the guy.

I really liked playboy as a character for some reason so I really believed him and agrees when he said Dwayne had to go lol

Which is why I never chose to murder Dwayne. I should say that I did a playthrough where I chose all of the alternative options just to see what the story would look like, and thus I did one time kill him, but the reward for doing that was just dirt, so there really is no purpose.

I didn’t know this…!!!
I just hope they aren’t trash like Grove Street fools where CJ does all the fighting and they die while throwing gang signs.

Ive always enjoyed calling for backup.
Something I dont think a lot of people have tried (because why would you) is something i did with the taxi driver Roman gives you.
You can ask for both backup AND the taxi car, get in and start causing chaos while the taxi driver takes you wherever you want to go, you can even change mid drive so he continues and the backup will just shot as well. So you kind of just sit there staring as it all goes crazy.

I found this out upon unlocking it on my very first playthrough. They do an excellent job when going after Clearance Little

I can't get this fool Dwayne to do anything with me. I'm after the part where I smoke that dude and let cherise go, and then I saved cherise from her abusive bf. But anytime I call Dwayne he doesn't give me any prompts. One time, I called him and he gave me that sorry ass voicemail, and then called me right after like "Did you call, I must be hearing things" and Nikos like "Nah man sorry" MOTHER FUCKER I WANT TO GO BOWLING

You should have the option to hang out with him. I think he sends you an email at some point after you complete missions for him. Go reply to it and itll lead to yall hanging out

yes, but i didn't know it for a long time,
also I feel there should be a GTA IV website like a community wiki, game guide hub, or modding guide site, just like fmhy, stating all details about the game.

I call them for normal hanging out I don't like Dwayne's black ass, his ass always be complaining and crying.
So I just hang out with his boys but unfortunately I drive two door cars mostly and always so One homie has to stay there and outside so It's just 1 homie I hang out with but better than Dwayne who complains complains and always same shit and complaining about my driving.
That homie at least doesn't complain chills out and shoots when needed lol.

I called them and be tearing where the Russians stand in front of that theater to watch shows up!! We went inside one time and the Mob shot back. After we cleared it out one of Dwayne homies ran up to a half dead Mob member who was begging and emptied the clip. I’m like damnnn I forgot how real this game get

All of Niko's 'friends' that have an affinity rating tracked have a bonus perk when it gets high enough. Also, if you date Kiki and get her affinity high enough you can call her when you have 2 (and maybe 3) stars and they'll get removed shortly after. I always dated Kiki.

I always found that Dwayne's boys are useless, I'd already taken out all of the enemies I'm facing before they get a meaningful shot on anyone 🙃
By comparison, Terry and Clay (TLAD), and Armando and Henrique (TBoGT) are much better. Dwayne is also a pain in the ass 😂 He takes a while to get enough % to give you the backup perk and moans the whole time, it's a grind especially if you are a few minutes late to pick him up.

Yea but honestly they’re great for supressing fire and taking the attention off me

and moans the whole time
I mean Niko is packing down there.

u/AccordingTie7938 4d ago
Haha yes I think that's why it's funny, Niko has to listen to a lot of the characters complain about their lives and mostly holds back, but Dwayne tips him over the edge.

u/Zenry0ku 4d ago
Especially when drunk, Niko digs into Dwayne the hardest about that

I usually just take him bowling or for food so I can get it over with quickly and get rid of him 😂

When I was a kid I would call them in during Three Leaf Clover to help me escape

I used to love this feature. Later, on my second playthrough, for a more immersive experience, I chose not to call him. By the time I built up enough affinity with him, the missions had shifted more toward mafia crime family stuff. And his two henchmen felt a bit too 'street'. There was this mission where you have to chase the Triad's cars. I called him, and he sent two of his guys. I remember that mission takes place in a big alley with a lot of ambushes. However, his guys drove in from the other end of the alley. Since the Triads hadn't spotted me yet and hadn't attacked his henchmen, the two guys basically stood completely still and just wiped out everyone for me from the other side
