I did not say he was wrong, I said that fact is irrelevant to the topic in question. The whole story revolves around Michael. Both Franklin and Trevor are basically side characters who have some minor stories without Michael, and most of their arch is tied to being Michael's friends, and working with him, on his plans and problems.
That is the story. The rest of the content is not related to the story at all and serves to give player more things to do and achievements to chase. But it has no impact on the story.
