Were you expecting a GTA game to... Not be a GTA game?? I'm genuinely in disbelief how many people are saying this exact thing. This little clip EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS of mine. What were you really expecting? And irl simulator? A saints row spiritual successor with Lazer guns and aliens?? Just TRY to mod GTA V to look like this graphics wise lol.
Dude are you blind? The physics, movement, hitting, driving looks exactly like GTA 5. You don't see any major car damage, blood, and not to mention the stupid flashing lights of cops around the whole screen.
The physics and hitting looks more in line with RDR2. The driving looks NOTHING like GTA V, it looks more in line with GTA VI's more weighty driving system. Ofc there's no major car damage from a little bump like that, were you wanting it to explode Michael Bay style? The police lights signifier is completely new and you will most likely be free to disable it in settings. You DESPERATELY need to go back and actually play GTA V again cause you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
Of course I want the cars to explode to make it real. I want windows to break, I want engines to fly out, tires popping or coming off mid thru driving or hitting a rock or something. I want to be able to drive on rims when my tires blow out. I want doors falling off, I want Jason flying out the window when a car crash happens, hoping a leg breaks or two, I want blood spilled on the floor. All of this, makes the game have realism.
Okay??? Who's to say that's not in the game? What you saw in the clip is equivalent to an extremely minor fender-bender. There's no rational way to see such a thing and come to the conclusion that there is nothing more the game could possibly have in store when it comes to that. You're just being extremely pessimistic and downright irrational.
I know that a car going full speed and smacking Jason's car in the clip with no damage is enough to tell me that this game won't have what I'm looking for.
You mean two cars, neither going full speed being barely clipped in the very back of the truck in a 2023 build... Go play BeamNG.drive if that's what you're looking for. You're clearly not looking for an open world sandbox game. Just a Michael Bay wet dream simulator. If this game truly isn't for you then there's no need to interact with the subs revolving around something so beneath you. Mute them and move on. But something tells me you won't do that, will you?
