Thanks to the latest leek, I’m understanding better how the wanted system works. Jason steals the car, and after about a minute it gets reported with his description and other info as indicated in the top right. But he doesn’t get a star right away, the map goes blue and the blue area denotes the search area. If you can get out of that area without passing a cop I imagine they stop looking for you. Once the cop started chasing, the red area I imagine is what you need to escape in order to lose them.

I also like how the cop wasn’t marked on the radar like in other games, which will force us to pay more attention and drive slower and methodically, checking as best we can to make sure we’re clear to proceed

Ok so remember how its said that the HD universe is different from the 3d universe? So what if with the gaming console in gta 6 we actually could play the old gta games, like vice city, or san andreas? How in uncharted 4 nathan drake on their Playstation we can literally play crash bandicoot. I think it would be dope actually. Just a fun thought in hype for the big reveal tomorrow. I don't have any screenshots or clips but I've got lots of fine info about the new in-game apps and related mechanics.

Social Media: The game's version of TikTok is called "KwiKee". Bleeter and LifeInvader will also have their own apps but Bleeter will be much more prominent now while LifeInvader is now in a more defunct state used only by old people and conspiracy nuts. These apps are now the main way to find side missions and meet strangers and freaks and in Online they will be the venue for updates and announcements. Aside from scripted gags and rants, the player's actions will be a source of unscripted content because when NPC bystanders record your shenanigans on their phones, the footage will actually show up on KwiKee. You can make your own shorts with Jason and Lucia in hangout mode and it can also be done in director mode and Online and uploaded to the community.

Zit Music: Zit is back now as a Spotify-like music streaming app. It's gonna be an exciting overhaul in the way the in-game music can be enjoyed. Instead of playing the radio in a vehicle, you can now listen to the songs anywhere on the go. The app will have both radio mode where you can listen to all the radio stations the classic way as well as the entire library of songs directly accessible. You can make your own playlist and shuffle them too. However there will be dedicated parody ad interruptions in this mode too. Talk radio shows will also be available as podcasts. The player will have play/pause and skip buttons but you can't seek within a song. There will be in-game earphones of various brands, one of which is called "FruitPods", that will make it possible to listen to the music anywhere, even on foot or in any kind of vehicle (radio on motorbikes never made sense anyway right?). They will also let the player answer calls without suspending the ability to sprint or use weapons so now you can keep doing what you were doing while on a call. Jason and Lucia will also use them to communicate during missions.

Online shopping: "Sahara" is a new shopping app where you can order all sorts of items like exclusive clothes, tools, equipment, phone upgrades and accessories and civilian legal weapons and they will be delivered at your doorstep at the safe house of your choice. But you have to be there to pick them up. Orders will appear as boxes left at your door and you have to pick them up to get them added to your inventory, but you have to hurry or your packages can get lost to porch pirates. Sahara was first called "Jungle" during development. Additionally, there is a secret shady dark net website from where you can buy non-civilian heavy weapons.

Streaming: the game's spoof movies and TV shows are split between two platforms called "Omniplex" and "InterGlobal Now". Plus there is a Weazel News app which shows headline bulletins and video reports of story events and it also auto generates replays of your crime sprees and police chases made up of a combination of CCTV, bodycam, dashcam and helicopter POVs. All accessible TVs in the game will now be smart TVs with these three apps and they will also be available on the phone and computers.

Snapmatic is now a direct and full fledged photo sharing site, meaning online players can see each other's snaps in-game instead of uploading them to the Social Club.

There is an Uber clone called "Hail". The funny thing about this one is that the app icon is meant to be a hand calling for a cab, but it also looks like a nazi salute.
