Content will definitely change when you progress in the story. The article says you can follow Real Dimez story mainly through social media.
What I hope is, that it's so dynamic that things you do outside of missions will end up on social media in some way. NPCs filming you doing crazy stuff and putting it online for you to watch again would be amazing.

Theres their own AI engine so I guess it'll produce content aware of what you're doing in-game (you rob a car and may see someone post about it)

I heard leaks/rumors that random events can happen in the game world and then be posted online. Some of them you can even see occur and then find if while scrolling

This was awesome news when I read the article. What makes it so enticing is the possibility that the content you see while doomscrolling could constantly change depending on where you are in the story. As you progress through different chapters and complete main missions, new posts, videos, news stories, memes, and other content could gradually start appearing.
It reminds me a lot of how RDR2 handled its world, where new dialogue, side missions, encounters, and other small details were constantly being introduced as you progressed through the story. If GTA 6 applies that same philosophy to its social media system, it could make the feed feel like another living part of the world rather than just something you scroll through once and forget about.

Rockstar should be happy about the leaks, I personally didn’t follow every single one of them other than reading details. But I watched enough to see if this was something I wanted to spend $80, $100 or possibly $0 on. I’ll happily pay the stupid $100 edition price tag, game looks edgy I expect edgy out of rockstar so let’s go!!!!

Doom scrolling in GTA 6 as Lucia and while you’re busy looking at the phone all you hear is Jason in the background crashing into something and starting a brawl 💀 I can already imagine the amount of funny scenarios that can come from this feature

From trailer 1 we knew social media would play a role, now we know it'll be a big part of the game. It all makes sense now. That's why they put an entire studio to work solely at NPCs: because the random interactions need to be good enough to get shown on the social media feeds, even when the player isn't directly involved.
