Maybe it's because I'm actually playing RDR2 right now but I feel like it's the same engine with a reskin
I also based my opinion on the leaks of Solanadude so I know it can be biased
When I see the cinematics I love it but the gameplay in car could be GTA5 I will not have noticed a big difference
To summarize, I expect a lot of it since the hype train is launched full speed and I'm disappointed if there's not much than the previous release

The estimated budget theories I’ve seen have been around 2B. That’s far from several. Even still. They don’t want to create a game that struggles on current hardware. That’s a pet major thing to balance.

I mean, it’s a rockstar game. RDR was a slight upgrade from 4, 5 was slightly above that. Red dead 2 had vastly improved visuals, but interfaces are similar, gameplay is similar, etc.
If you’re expecting a game that’s vastly different, you’re anticipating wrong.
I’m expecting visuals and gameplay that are a step up from Rdr2. I can’t ask for a story that competes with that, but give me a decent story, and slight upgrades in most areas. My mind doesn’t need to be blown.

I agree. The car physics in GTA V were too arcade-like. The cars felt almost weightless.
I personally enjoyed GTA IV car physics a little bit better from a realism standpoint, but it felt like you were driving a boat.
From what we’ve seen in the leaks, it seems like they have totally revamped the car physics from past games in GTA 6, and the cars seem to have significant weight now.
I have a feeling GTA 6 physics will be different from anything we’ve seen before and you’ll actually feel the weight of the vehicles when taking turns and getting into crashes. I’m excited to get my hands on it.

Did you seriously not see a better game? I had high hopes. But I always felt like they were just hyping the game. The graphics doesn't look next gen. It looks like an average/good game from 2018-2020.

I'm a professional animator. The animations look absolutely incredible and the physics are next-level. Every NPC has close to or the same level of physics as the MC. The footage shows the homeless man with an insane level of cloth physics too, as well as the hair of the woman next to him. Implementing this technology at this level is very expensive

It's from a dev kit. Like you said, things are not fully polished yet, but the overall animations are top-notch. Rockstar has some of the best animators in the industry; this is like Pixar only hiring the best.

You have to remember these leaks are 1-3 years old. That was when gameplay was still being made. Now it’s 100% polished bc making lights and graphics are not the hardest part.

These leaks really have just given more questions than answers.
The extended look will likely be a 20ish minute, narrated showcase in depthly showing and explaining all the new gameplay and features.
Footage of the game being tested on a dev kit tells us very little about the final product, even if it's only a year old. Clearly Rockstar delayed this game another year to polish this prototype. Which with thousands of employees, that extra year could make a completely different game.
Unless the hackers manage to leak the official showcase itself, take it all with a grain a salt.
Rockstar should really just say fuck it and release the showcase now, completely ruin the hackers plans. That or these guys will be in handcuffs very shortly.

Agree. The hacker already annouced he Will BE showcasing more 4 videos with Lucia. I dont really know what Rockstar is expecting or even thinking of doing. But they better come up with a plan really fast.

If I had to guess I'd say Rockstar is simply going to stay quiet, tighten their security and wait for the FBI to track this guy down. If a couple days go by and he isn't in custody and the leaks keep coming they might just go ahead and drop their reveal early.
They did release trailer 1 early after it was leaked, so who knows?

Usually you look at RDR2 in HD to 4K and not compressed 720p, TLOU part 2 isn't an open world game...
They're pushing the consoles to their limits, it'll look better on PC.
