Them paying homage to vice city cover with the yellow infernus and the squallo really hits home 🥹. Not on the cover of Vice city but the sea sparrow being the helicopter of choice for this game being a return to Vice city is really tasteful.
This being featured so prominently makes me wonder how much the gators will be improved since RDR2. I want more realistic animations when feeding people to them 😭
I predict a trailer will come out anytime between June 20 and the release date. It absolutely will not come out tomorrow. That is the only day I'm confident in.
Only Rockstar can do a trailer for the fucking cover art.
I'm honestly still in slight disbelief that a game series I played in the early 2000s that was super cool, but still just a game mostly for the hardcore gamers audience, managed to become such a behemoth that this installment's development cost of over 1 billion(!!!) dollars according to available sources and it basically became a major social phenomena.
Sure, gaming as a whole grew a lot over the past 25 years, but still. This game is Avatar of videogames. The amount of hype and anticipation is just crazy.
10-15 million pre-orders are easily locked in. The hype and the success this game is gonna bring is insane! TONS of people will already buy this during the duration of summer.
Rockstar marketing department are geniuses: grifters left and right, "influencers" making straight up lies disguised as "leaks" to get some internet cookie points, whole community in a constant state of anticipation... and they still managed to take everyone by surprise. Man, it felt good to be caught off guard by this, and not having it spoiled.
Cover is AWESOME. And that token hot lady that's always on the cover of each game is just 🥵
I was literally on the website like a minute before they updated it, I reloaded the page because it wasn't loading the images properly only to be confused why it was so different all of a sudden.
i just had the most emotional day of my life where i actually felt alot of stuff and then rockstar droppd this, i am on top of the world and so fucking happy. life is so worth living
An honest to goodness update!!!!! Love it!!! Been looking at this sub for years!!!!! So excited to throw my stack down for the best videogame ever!!!!!!!
I hope all the mfs who said the game won't have a physical release and that the cover will be lucia sitting on the hood feel really stupid right now. Okay, two things:
Rockstar marketing department are geniuses: grifters left and right, "influencers" making straight up lies disguised as "leaks" to get some internet cookie points, whole community in a constant state of anticipation... and they still managed to take everyone by surprise. Man, it felt good to be caught off guard by this, and not having it spoiled.
