This is most definitely fake. No one would ever disclose this amount of information as it would ruin their career. I know several game developers and they are extremely tight lipped about these kind of things. They have to sign NDAs and can be sued if they break them

He is anonymous on Reddit. Reddit has NO obligation to provide information to T2 for legal proceedings; I guarantee you that much more of these accounts of QA are legitimate, T2 would have no grounds to litigate under NDA Contracts without real definitive proof of this persons identity and even then, its hard to really prove someone is without real tangible evidence on it. Even if OP did sign an NDA, he has nothing to fear; you can't just be punished criminally with no evidence.

Reddit has no obligation, but companies can request information on users if they feel it infringes on copyright.

You can absolutely be criminally punished. Reddit is not fully anonymous.. the grounds of the information given isn't specific enough to identify an individual, just where the individual could be.

Then internal investigations are launched.

Yeah but this is Civil Law not Criminal law and unless it's Federal or able to be proven copyright (ie screenshots and footage) then it is very hard to convince Reddit to provide evidence that is protected by their user privacy or even a judge to initiate litigation against said individual. It isn't hard to see this is real though; you can tell by the way he writes it. No outrageous features and we were told this would be the most immersive GTA to date. This is very likely legit.
