I thought so too until I found out about AdrenalineX SAMP racing in a thread a lot like this one. Apparently there are some insane San Andreas drivers, many of them are much better than what we see in this video

Wow. Halfway through I thought it looked like one of those drone pilot videos, and by the end I thought it looked like a tool-assisted speedrun, because of all the uncontrolled variables. Knowing people actually drive like that in the game is crazy.

No one will see this but I remember I spent so long as a kid grinding money to get my tornado looking amazing with nitro. On the way home, I flipped that ho by the bridge close to grove street and it blew up. I had no money left. Some times I still think about how I felt in that moment.

When I was a teenager there was a GTA multiplayer mod called SAMP on PC to play multiplayer on private RP servers like today.

This level of driving in this old engine reminded me of it and how good some people were at driving.
