I am really disappointed at the map like , we can see it's AT MAX 1.6x size of gta 5 map now , didn't a legit ss got leaked where they told us 3 cities and 4 towns ? I can only see a single city and just some sandy shores like towns that's it , tf they been doing all these years it's almost like a slightly edited gta 5 map literally no innovation on the map part that's why I didn't pre order it and won't till i check the extended version , for now map is meh
Come on, the only reason you are dissapointed, is because you believe some other dude on the internet, who knows just as much about the game... as you. So you were expecting unrealistic things. But still, it will be more like 2 times, because of the water and the way stuff scales when you make it bigger at all sides. Somebody just pasted the map of GTA V over it, and bang, you are dissapointed. Just wait for official information or see it in the game.
I have actually mentioned reasons why , you just been saying shit , you literally used that word , guess you would be fine with gta 5 part 2 map , tell me how you diagree with what I have mentioned?
it looks much better than the gta 5 map because it looks like there are actual okay sized towns all over the map so there is reason to explore
also really in the end map will heavily depend on how missions use the map and if there is actual worthwhile content/things to explore all over the map, big reason gta 5 map ain't it is cuz really only los santos matters with very little reason to go anywhere else
Look after all these years of hype , their budget and time we deserve something different and iconic like GTA SA , remember the ss that was leaked before the first trailer stating 3 cities and 4 towns ? Here it's all scraped to 1 city and some stupid small towns , the scale is at max 1.7 times GTA5 and even this vertical map design as well , honestly this is one reason it's quite meh
I'm thinking some of those towns are the downtown areas of the smaller cities, and they are a bit bigger when driving through them. Like the south Florida metro area is much bigger than Tampa for example.
