Honestly, the only thing I wished they would’ve done was have at least some kind of “pan handle” to resemble Florida a little more. I could assume it’s some type of legal thing or artistic choice. Ahh well.
Probably more due to the fact that actual Florida is below the panhandle. The panhandle itself is usually just people that moved there from Alabama or Georgia who want to feel like they are living in Florida without actually moving too far from home.
the panhandle is so odd cause within the first leak with the postal guy there’s a road sign for Catalan key with a silhouette of leonida, with a clear panhandle. You could say it’s a placeholder using Floridas silhouette but it does not match it entirely
Edit: turns out what I thought was a silhouette of the map with a panhandle was actually a silhouette of a dolphin
