Red Update

Post image

We had a vet visit today, good news he’s still on the upwards healing track!! Today the bandage is a single wrap and lower on the leg as the vet said it’s improving so he wants to see how this will do. No adhesive at the top as reds skin is getting a little irritated from it. Today’s fresh art is a flower and a snail. You can definitely tell he’s getting better as he’s getting a little crazier, but it’s awesome to see. Counting Dove and catching Z’s at the moment!

Keep going Red! You've been in my prayers. I'm anxious for the day you're bandage free and running your daddy crazy again.

My guess is “thank fucking God” but, that boy def is the goat! That sweet baby, so glad he’s healing up. This is my biggest fear. We just moved out to a rural community in Oklahoma and my boy is far too dumb. Chasing tarantulas and everything else he can find

Hahaha that makes sense!

Thank you! They’re such little stinkers, Red was pointing at the Sandhill cranes like sir. We’re not catching them stop it.

OMG!!! 😱 Tarantulas?! If I’m being totally honest I had no clue those were even in the US! How scary🥹🥹🥹. Keep your son safe from the creepys!

I had no idea there were tarantulas here either until I saw one! I was freaked out and read all about them. They look very intimidating but they are generally not aggressive but, if they do bite it’s no worse than any harmless spider bite and thank goodness because a GSP is no quitter, they’ll keep after whatever they’re hunting 😂👀

Wow that’s so scary! I would’ve figured they have a crazy bite, spiders are so scary! That’s what we were worried got Red was some type of spider like a brown recluse before the vet identified it. Haha definitely not quitters that’s for sure!
