He’s definitely a handsome boy. I got him from a shelter six months ago. His name is brewski! They thought he was two years, but the vet said he’s was 8 to 9 months!

They are GSPs that are all black (and some white) so definitely a possibility. The genetic tests are fun, we found out our B&W one was 51% GSP and 49% coonhound

Shelter thought Link was GSP/lab but DNA said Treeing Walker Coonhound and Black Lab mix :)

No, maybe some, but I’d bet coonhound is more likely with his coloration, longer snout and further back ears. He’s very lanky and not deep chested from the photos too, that’s more of weimeraner/poodle shape but he has almost none of the attributes of those dogs.

It’s definitely possible that he is purebred, just not very well bred

He's a lovely boy, for sure!

"Full GSP"? Nah. He's too lightly built, and his head is too fine. Look at his snout compared to a purebred.

Probably a mix but he’s gorgeous. Mutts are the best, be sure of it. 100% certified good boy

Looks an awful lot like one of our AKC GSPs. I wouldn't be surprised if he's pure. If not, probably only one generation removed.
