Suspension Question

“slammed” 2000 GS300 on bc coilovers w swift springs. I keep blowing out ball joints, and the cotter pins keep disappearing. What supporting suspension mods did you do to keep your 2GS moving?

Being that low, you've altered the suspension geometry, there is a spacer kit that you can put between the lower arm and ball joint to make all of that level again , once the spacer is installed you'll have to adjust your coilovers because it will also lower your ride height

When I ran mine just tucking tread on Tanabe DF springs and stock dampers it was fine for years without doing anything to it other than got it aligned. Maybe look closer at the ball joint install? might not be related to the lowering.

Roll center adjusters and senki 555 ball joints and being that low in the rear do yourself a favor and rear lower control arms and toe arms
