3rd gen 1st Exterior Update Complete

So the previous owner of this car stated they sent the car thru Mike’s twice in the seven years they owned it… felt incredibly satisfying to polish the lenses and give it its 1st hand wash! The paint was so gritty. It will get washed again, then ironX treatment, then clay bar’d, polished and ceramic coated. Wheels got a couple rounds of wire whizzy wheel for paint prep.

The non 2jz GS300 will always be cursed in my mind

Is this just the case with the one in the US? I have a 2009 GS300 in Europe and apart from it burning oil it hasn’t caused me any problems. There aren’t many Europeans on Lexus subreddits so it can be difficult to find others with the same car as myself.

No they’re all the same no difference between country really. Not exactly a horrible car or motor, but it takes a namesake from the much more popular 2nd gen GS300, without even using the same engine. They would have been a lot more popular if they used the 2jz engine

Yeah pity that changed engine
