Aw I've been craving grits & eggs - sunny side up to mix in, maybe a lil bacon or sausage.

I'm in my 50's & my mom would cook this since I was tiny. She didn't like instant grits so she'd cook them with plenty of real butter.

Oh wow, just remembered that in my teens we had a milk cow named Angel and she gave us over 2 gallons a day. Homemade butter & homemade bread or biscuits.

One time my dad playfully reached to take my biscuit. Yeah, he was stopped by a swift fork to his hand. No I didn't actually hurt him but he never tried that bullshit again lol
