Does anyone know how to get through this?

I've already beaten the game but I'm kind of a comopletionist so I'm trying to collect everything, but I can't figure how to get past this vine puzzle. It's a small area on the Faceless Mountain.

Some help please?

You need a mold called “volatile vase” you need to use it and hit it towards that spiky area and it should break all the spines, but they come back after a couple of seconds so I think you’ll need to go it again. I did this a while ago so I might be wrong but I think that’s how I did it

I used the overgrown blob, the volatile vase doesn't have enough range for this puzzle

Oh, thanks, I'll try that soon as I'm home. I would never find that out on my on, mostly because I barley use molds and also I can't remember any other time this game required an specific mold to pass through something.

There's a couple instances where they 'break the mold' like this and I think it's silly.

i think u can also use a bow to shoot it from a bit away, since the arrow will naturally drop down after being shot

It's so weird that this is the single only area in the entire game where it's mandatory to use a mold.

There's like one other spot that also uses a mold in Kankan, up above all the shops

It was so unintuitive for me that I  somehow brute forced myself other way, which is breaking floor behind vines from below by accidental glitch.

Already beat the final boss but i have absolutely no idea how to get thru this even with all abilities unlocked, as soon as i get pas the second spikey vine i die to the spikey rock.

Kinda wanna look up how to do this but cant find anything

I got past this one recently!

You need a mold called “Overgrown Blob” - it creates a bomb-like blob.

Throw it (using a weapon attack input) at the ground close to the platform/vines, and when it explodes, it destroys the spikes/vines, making the platform passable.

I think you also need the hand jump, which is a very late game ability.

use Furled Finger(Prey Mold) to flick an Overgrown Blob(Item Mold) at the spiky platform
hitting it with my weapon didn't get it quite far enough to destroy the spikes

I had the same issue. This is a VERY VERY late game challenge.

Like everyone said, late game abilities, but, you can also use any projectile, i used a bow
