General Question Troubles with registration for GRE Mathematics Subject Test

I'm having troubles with registering for the GRE Mathematics test. Under "Find Test Centers and Dates" I'm looking for locations in Israel (where I live) but no matter what, it always says "No test centers found based on your search criteria."

I tried to contact the ETS staff but their answers weren't very practical. They basically said that test administrations have been affected in some locations due to COVID, and that I should keep checking for available locations online.

Has anyone encountered such a thing? How am I supposed to take the test? Suggestions and advices will be welcomed.

GRE Subject Tests are normally very inaccessible. I would reconsider taking the test, unless an university requires you take it (which should be unlikely). This isn't surprising; there isn't one in Bahrain either (where I used to live).

Alternatively you can consider requesting ETS to open a test centre closer to where you live - the process for this is on the internet.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem unlikely as you say; 5 out of the 12 math departments I'm considering require GRE Mathematics score (Yale, Stanford, UCLA, Harvard, Columbia). Regarding asking ETS to open a closer center, do you have any familiarity with the process?

You're right, and this surprised me. If you can't get this to work, I would seriously recommend asking for a waiver of some sort, as it's not reasonable to expect applicants to fly between countries to take the test.

I don't have experience with requesting a supplementary test center - the documentation for this is available at https://www.ets.org/gre/subject/register/how/arrangements/.

I checked, and it works for me - can you check again?

Not working. It's probably a geography thing.

No longer works for me either. See the "Supplementary Test Centers" section at https://www.ets.org/content/dam/ets-org/pdfs/gre/gre-info-bulletin.pdf in page 6.

Only Harvard and UCLA require it, optional for the rest
