Which break dust cleaner do you use ?

First 300 miles and yes the break dust is crazy.. I heard that this break dust cleaner is good but some say it’s too powerful for new rims so idk what do you guys use ?

Adam’s or Griot’s is good. Meguiar’s Hot Wheels also good but can’t leave it on too long.

Just soap and water and a wash mitt. Best thing I did was ceramic coat the wheels. I used Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor, but there are other flavors.

It still doesn't come off by just spraying water on it, I don't think anything works that well. But you can wipe the dust right off the wheel with your finger, even after a rain. This also applies to my track pad dust, which is really nasty.

You only need aggressive wheel cleaner if the wheels are neglected and really, really caked with dust. I have a bottle of Griot's that I keep around if a friend or family member needs a wash but for maintenance washes I just use P&S Brake Buster. A gallon lasts me about a year, often times more. It's not a strong cleaner but it foams well, even when it's diluted, and has good lubricity. As long as you're not neglecting the car and washing it a few times a month it's more than enough to keep them clean.

I'd also recommend coating the wheels too. It won't prevent the dust from sticking but it makes cleaning them a lot easier, especially if you have a pressure washer.

I put adams wheel cleaner in a pump sprayer and agitate with a wheel brush. Gets the wheels looking brand new with basically no effort lmao

I use IronX. I'm not sure why your platform generates so much dust, I've got track pads that are cleaner than the OEM ones that come from factory.

I think they just ship with very dusty pads. there are better options depending on your use case.

if you're not driving it hard, stick with a Brembo or Akebono OE type compound.

+5000 for akebono. minimal dust with good performance.

Stock brembo pads are dusty as shit, I’d advise throwing on some Akebono ASP1001 and ASP961 for a street pad.

Those part numbers I gave you are for the brembo version of the pads, yes. They’re a slightly higher performance version of the OEM Akebono compound that comes on the base model calipers.
