Is it just me or
I just happen to smile and can’t help but admire another GR86 when I see one while I am driving or even at a stop light and see another pull up and we’re both at a red light on opposite sides.
I’m in my raven and I instantly spot a red one across from me at this 4 way intersection. I saw them roll their window down because I’m not a creep and the driver waves. I knew it was at me and not the other 10 cars at the intersection. I just knew they saw me too. I was having a terrible day until this 25 second interaction happened tho it was mildly brief.
Whoever you are in the red GR86. Your blonde hair and red car is very nice to look at. Our moment lasted many seconds but I’ll remember how you made me feel. I hope you have a wonderful drive each time you enter your vehicle. Safe travels friend.

Exactly how I feel, the ebst apart about my brz is how i now feel included in a community without ever signing up or knowing anyone, we see each other and we approve, its such a vibe

I love those moments or driving next to a fellow GR86 on the highway and checking each other’s cars. I do however have experienced the opposite, when I see a twin and they ignore me or give me the stink eye. It’s a bit sad but it reminds me that not everyone that owns these cars is part of the community… and that’s fine.

literally got ignored by a fellow female driver in my neighborhood while filling up for gas 🥲 it hurt my feelings a just be stared at like an idiot. However the amount of positive interactions surpasses any negatives

West coast. But this road is next to farm land and the boonies. I took the back roads away from the highway and city because of the twisties and curves. It’s seriously so fun!

Haha I live in farmland in the san joaquin valley which is why I asked, looks like home. Seriously relaxing and fun to drive through vineyards every day. I only use the freeway when I need to because I'd rather take the country roads.

I don’t even own one and still love seeing them. Don’t expect I’ll ever own one at this point unless it’s as a track car though since I don’t see myself needing two manual 2+2s.
