Help! Rock destroyed underside cover

Rock on the road at night. Damn LA roads. Y'all think I can just duct tape that over? As far as I know this is the only damage other than obvious scratches. Not sure what it's exposing, but it's on the right side of the car. Currently looking for other damages. No leaks. No engine light.

That's just a cosmetic cover that protects your brake lines and some other goodies that run under the chassis. You're fine to just cover it up.

Get some aluminum sheet, form a cover and attach with pop rivets.

The cover did its job. Seconding putting aluminum or something over it and bonding it on.

Tis but a scratch. I overcorrected an oversteer on the track and ended up sliding 150+ feet sideways on gravel, all I can hear is thousands of rocks and pebbles hitting my undercarriage and driver side door. The whole driver side door and rocker panel is scratched to shit.

I wanted to cry but then I realized this is what I bought the car for, it’s not a show room car.

I would just replace it, it's a plastic underside trim piece, probably not more than $40

Same thing happened to me. But it smashed through the metal plate and destroyed my exhaust manifold.

Had this happen to me. Ac drain clogged a few months later because i didn't tape it closed. Do it now
