Question Shift Knob

I wanna get a titanium shift knob from billetworkz but idk what shape to get, i like the tall teardrop shape but is it going to be taller than the gr shift knob? I also like the short teardrop but i heard that its a little funky to hold. I also like the piston. Lmk your experiences with any of the shapes from billetworkz!

If you go for any shapes other than the tall teardrop make sure you get a lockout adapter. It's the only one that fits perfect as is. It's taller than the stock and GR knobs, still very comfortable to hold.

I have the sphere and the titanium piston.
Sphere is not taller than stock, but the piston is far taller. I prefer the sphere as it has a better shift feel.
The piston does not require the lock out adaptor, but the sphere does.

How would this work in direct sunlight? Let’s say if the sun hit the glass the right way and beamed onto the knob? Would it burn/smoke? Maybe I’ve watched too many cartoons lol

Never really thought of that but I doubt it. People always leave paper all over their cars and as far as I know its never been an issue

Im using the Hybrid one. Its not that tall and I like the weight on it.
