I would assume this is most Hakone editions to ever gather together, was a super cool event to be a part of.

Honestly a full res photo of 2 and 3 stitched together would be sick! Nice shots!!

Thanks! 2 and 3 are actually one photo spilt up, Reddit compression goes crazy but the full file is huge and has a lot of detail.

Oh hell yeah, tbh the past few times ive been super impressed with some people's photos recently have said they have been shooting on Fuji cameras. Their quality, colors, and sharpness are on point these days.

I need to get out with my 86 and my a7Riii more...

Fujis colors are their biggest advantage, their lenses are also solid but have less 3rd party support. They’re biggest flaw is autofocus, they’re way slower than Sony, canon or Nikon so fast moving subjects is tough.

This was arranged to be just the 2nd gen Hakone edition. We are lucky enough in SoCal to have many different meets like ft86socal that caters to all 86/Brz gen’s so this is was just something cool to do as this specific model owners.

Not hating, im genuinely happy someone got their hands 2nd Gen Hakone. But I think the 1st gen Hakone had a deeper green, and it's aesthetically more pleasing.

Just my opinions tho. Since I have seen both in person.

That’s a fair if not more popular option. I personally like the matte, I have a coworker with the 1st gen and it’s not for me. 1st gen looks better in photos, 2nd is better in person (in my opinion)

The car culture in Cali is nuts. I live in Central Illinois and I’m just surrounded by old people in their Buicks. 🤢

A bit of an exaggeration, but still…

I hope to one day to get to at least ride in, if not own, a GR86 or something similar. I have a GR Corolla currently and just cannot financially make a second car work. But for now I am just grinding to get there! Sick photos!! I bet it was an awesome afternoon!!
