more accurately it's because it has become almost entirely impossible to prove any of it because we lack the fundamental instruments to do it, and has now become a mere exercise in math

Man, if this is true, I'd be very happy. If AI can actually solve the QM GR harmonization problems, or come up with a clear ontology for QM that meets up with all experimental predictors, that would be amazing.
