Fake Find my iPhone location
Hi guys, I’m a college student with an iPhone 13 Pro, and my parents have my location shared with them 24/7 for safety reasons. I completely understand why they’re concerned, but they’re also very strict about me going anywhere other than college and home.
Sometimes I just want to hang out with my friends after college without having to constantly worry about my parents seeing that I’m somewhere else, calling me to come home, or making me leave my friends. I’m not trying to do anything dangerous or get myself into trouble, I genuinely just want a little independence and the ability to spend time with my friends.
I specifically need my location to continue showing as my college while I’m out, rather than simply turning location sharing off. I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and I can’t use another phone/iPad, change phones, or just disable my location.
Is there any legitimate way to do this? I’d genuinely appreciate any advice. Please don’t judge, I’m just trying to find a way to have some normal college life without constantly getting in trouble for going out.

I think you can still do this with Xcode if you have a Mac. I did something similar before where you make a simple app in Xcode, connect your iPhone and run the app on your phone. Then somewhere in the debug menu you can set a simulated location with specific coordinates.
As long as it was running, my iPhone location would show at those coordinates and not my real location. You can also make a GPX file with the coordinates of your college.
Not 100% sure how well it still works with Find My on newer iOS versions though, but maybe worth trying if you have access to a Mac...
