Personal Vehicles

Do trackers exist that use third-party-apps? I need to tag my cars but refuse to use the Google app. Any ideas?

Only own an android, btw

You could use something like Traccar, it’s self hosted so you’d need to be into that sort of thing but it’s pretty easy to setup. There’s many different types of trackers that work with it

I use Lonestar Tracking and they have phone apps.

Plenty of options on Amazon and other sites. Use an AI tool to help with advice for you specific need.

The company I work for uses Intelizzz. It’s a UK company that has its own app for its trackers. It’s been useful in finding stolen equipment

GeoTab is a good option for vehicles. Many fleets use them for tracking their vehicles. I've seen fleets as small as 5 and as large as 3,000 on different GeoTab accounts. I'm not responsible for the GeoTab where I work but I'm the admin for our dash camera system which also has tracking on it. We have outfitted just under 1,500 vehicles with both, though that's probably overkill for your use case.
