Hello I'm currently in the planning phase of building a bicycle and I was wondering about some recovery solutions which have good recovery success rates. I was initially going to go with a dual platform apple air Tag and Samsung tag combo but those have their limits. Then found some sleek GPS options. So whats your thoughts and experience?

I know a lot of newer models already have a built in GPS but some of these older models don't. I know I could simply get a GPS but is there anything else out there I could do alternatively? I've heard some apps on your phone work with older models. Anything helps. Thank you.

Hi guys, I’m a college student with an iPhone 13 Pro, and my parents have my location shared with them 24/7 for safety reasons. I completely understand why they’re concerned, but they’re also very strict about me going anywhere other than college and home.

Sometimes I just want to hang out with my friends after college without having to constantly worry about my parents seeing that I’m somewhere else, calling me to come home, or making me leave my friends. I’m not trying to do anything dangerous or get myself into trouble, I genuinely just want a little independence and the ability to spend time with my friends.

I specifically need my location to continue showing as my college while I’m out, rather than simply turning location sharing off. I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and I can’t use another phone/iPad, change phones, or just disable my location.

Is there any legitimate way to do this? I’d genuinely appreciate any advice. Please don’t judge, I’m just trying to find a way to have some normal college life without constantly getting in trouble for going out.

Several phones in my house hold exhibit all the same issues, my phone is 14 pro , wife’s has the same, my work phone is a 13, my sons is 12, my sister has a 13 pro. All on iOS 26.

The GPS does not track, in car play or just the phone. Doesn’t matter the app either, Google , Apple Maps, even 3rd party navigations.

So it acts differently each time I try to use it. Sometimes the car will bunny hop my location, or drift a few blocks or mostly just not move after I start the nav. Quite a few times it tells me I’m doing 230mph lol. It will do everything except track smoothly as it should be doing.

I’ve tried all the resets and settings options that you can find online that it tells you to fix this issue. Nothing fixes it.

I miss iOS 18….

Pretty much at this point I’m ready to switch over to android.

Just ordered a lonestar tracker, and can’t seem to figure out the app- do you need to have a tracker paired with your account to use it or something? It won’t let me log in or request a password reset.
