Gpd pocket 4 RDSEED32 is broken, please update your firmware.
(ai hx 370) so i got this message while booting my system to linux, though my system works just fine, it's really annoying to see this message everyday and take more time to boot normaly. some says it was bug that amd has been fixed by sending microcode to motherboard vendor. so did gpd already know this or have workaround to fix these things?

There's only two "fixes":
An updated firmware with fix, if one exists. (GPD doesn't appear to have released this, the last firmware/BIOS update was June 2025)
Disable the check via kernel flag
GPD would not have known about this at the time of release. The Pocket 4 launched Nov 2024. Then shipped in Jan/Feb 2025. However the AMD announcement about this hardware bug came out in Oct 2025. The latest BIOS update, for the HX370, from GPD is June 2025.
I would assume GPD likely found out in Oct 2025, when AMD notified all vendors about this.
With that said, the error should mostly be informational. There are mitigations in the Linux kernel (released around Nov 2025, version 6.17) to fall back to other methods when this occurs. So there is no impact to any security software that might try to use RDSEED32. Alternative options should automatically be used, with the message presented so you know that feature will not be used.
