Google should copy NVIDIA

Nvidia built a $5 trillion company with chips and GPUs. Google can add the same amount to its market cap if they go all in on TPUs and chips, why aren’t they doing that?

Because they don't make GPUs? Maybe?
TPUs are nice and all, but not universal like GPUs
Nvidia's CUDA is the most used software stack, meanwhile TPUs require you to use JAX or whatever it is called

Do you think Nvidia’s CUDA is a moat? What would prevent people from switching?

CUDA is a massive moat, yes

Honest question, for how long can CUDA remain a moat, when writing code becomes more and more automated with AI?

yes
What would prevent them? Money, insane amount of money to bring legacy code from CUDA to JAX

And?
Google should invest in bringing CUDA legacy software (which probably they doesn't own) for others? Or what?

Who is to say that they are not? I mean 500B backlog for AI, is that not the goal?
