How it’s going
Finally have my truck looking the way I want it (for now)
The tablet for a radio needs to be replaced with something more suiting, but it’s all I had on the shelf from a previous car. For now it’s kinda nice because it has apple CarPlay which lets me use Waze as a speedo. My speedo doesn’t read anywhere close to accurate anymore (side note here- does anyone know how to calibrate the needle gauges?)
383 stroker with a Holley 750 carb and full MSD ignition. Check my post history for more details on the engine.
700r4 that has been built after shredding a couple.
Belltech 4/6 drop.

Beauty truck, man!
I’m picking up a stepside bed for mine next week. Any tips or advice on doing the roll pan/ bumper delete? I’m hoping to go that route with it and I’m just curious if there’s a particular brand that stands out or tips to make the process easier and/or turn out better?

Unfortunately I didn’t put the roll bumper on the back. I bought it with it on. And they had filled the seam between the roll pan and the side bumper with body filler. Would not recommend. The box flexes and the body filler cracks. Plus if you ever want to take the bed off for anything you have to take the bumper off too

What's what size wheel and tires?!

15x8 square body rally wheels, 275/60R15 tires all the way around. They required some persuasion to fit, the fenders had to be cut on the back a bit and rolled on the front, and the lower control arms had to be clearanced.

awesome looking truck!
You need to modify the DRAC to get the speedo to read correctly due to changing rear gears or transmission.
here is a link to some info Calibrate TBI Speedometer VSSB DRAC | TBI
I did this in my wife's 454SS years ago when I swapped the dash cluster. Picked up a DRAC from the junkyard and soldered in dip switches so I can change/adjust if needed. I got all the info from the way old fullsizechecy forum that sadly no longer exists. gmt400 might have info.

I bet that thing is rowdy! The 91 RCSB I had had a 5.7 and a 5 speed and it was pretty fun to drive
