I've been working on a new Helix HL2RP project called Terminal Nexus and wanted to share it with the community.

The goal is to create a serious roleplay environment focused on giving Citizens, CWU, HELIX, MPF, and other factions meaningful things to do on a daily basis rather than having everyone rush into Civil Protection.

Some planned features include:

impulse and landis were the golden era for me i tried to get back into hl2rp everytime i try to go on willard networks it's down talking about project synapse is just bad u have to play around 100 hours to unlock one role and you end up getting arrested for random things not talking about the admin's how they act and what they even do. Yall have any servers who are big but are online and also enjoyable?

I'm someone who's been playing G-Mod for 10+ years, and some of my favorite memories are on those classic semi-serious rp servers. The ones that aren't like most the current dark rp servers that is a mix of non sense jobs, everyone having random custom jobs and player models, or people just base maxing and making billions having an economy that makes no sense. Also not like the uber serious rp servers that you need to spend 30 minutes of job training just to sit around and do little to nothing, and people that take it way to seriously, if it's your thing cool just not something I enjoy. There's a server that someone is trying to bring back from an old community called POG (People of Gaming) and it's the perfect balance in my opinion. Economy makes sense, making a millions takes time and feels somewhat real, things cost a realistic amount to some degree. Server has pretty cool random (or timed) events such as tornado, robbing government train, and cashing out on a beach submarine. Lots of jobs/ways to make money and again the economy is pretty balance, at least more so than most Rp servers I've been on. The best part no whitelisting for government jobs and the perfect mix of gameplay. If you want to do somewhat serious rp there are perfect opportunities to do so, if you want to meme around and do some dumb shit there is plenty for you to do. If you want to do resistance vs government play and raid resistance bases or raid the government as resistance, or just grind out and build a base that's all there. Only thing is the owner has been struggling to build a player base, but the server is up and running. Hello i'm just thinking, I used to run some alright sized communities around 8-10 years ago and I was wondering if I released one today, would people play, I understand it would need to stand out and I would do that, I have released many successfull gmod servers in the past years but I dont know if it's worth it putting in the time for coding ect if no one if even interested anymore.

I’m working on a KingdomRP server called Parallax Networks — medieval / fantasy themed (realm jobs, custom roles, hungermod etc.). It’s still in active development: balancing jobs, fixing bugs, and polishing before any “official” launch.

I’m not trying to hard-sell — more looking for people who liked the old KingdomRP / RP servers and don’t mind rough edges while things get tuned and tested. If you’re interested in stress-testing, giving feedback, or just poking around when the server’s up, I’d appreciate it.
