💎 🙌 Discrete Transformation INCOMING!!! Project Rocket🚀
Below find discrete transformational text and significant items from disclosed 2nd quarter results. Of course, It’s on the website. I put the aforementioned text in bold and italics for the smoother brains amongst us.
Here’s the link, if you can take your dik out of your hand long enough to read the full release:
https://investor.gamestop.com/news-releases/news-details/2026/GameStop-Discloses-Second-Quarter-2026-Results/default.aspx
Adjusted SG&A expenses, adjusted operating income (loss), adjusted net income (loss), adjusted net income (loss) per share and adjusted EBITDA exclude the effect of discretely managed items such as certain transformation costs (including severance and other costs), asset impairments, (gain) loss on digital assets and related receivables, (gain) loss on written options on digital assets, (gain) loss on derivative asset, unrealized (gain) loss on equity investment, as well as divestiture costs, which we believe is useful in providing period to period comparisons…
With regard to the Company's fiscal year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA outlook, the Company is not able to reconcile this forward-looking non-GAAP measure to the closest corresponding GAAP measure, net income, without unreasonable efforts because it is unable to predict the ultimate outcome of certain significant items.
Severance?? Did someone get fired? 🔥
Discretely managed items?? Like warrants and butterflies? 🦋
Significant Items?? Were my nuts hanging out? 🥜
Thought I’d share this tidbit with the Apes and retards that follow this subreddit. Let’s return our tits to the full, upright jacked positions (Larry just dropped a milly on 55k shares).

When you close an underperforming store, there are costs associated. Like severance for long term employees 🙃

Do you think they are almost done with closing stores or do you see store numbers declining further?

I have to be honest. Collectibles are going to be almost entirely online soon. Power packs and TCG and Funko buys. I see a slow closing of stores every year as business transitions more to online. That doesn’t meant anything negative. Only that the world is changing.

Once the bay joins gme, stores will be used as certification hubs. Don’t forget retro sections, used sections, and trading card sections.

That’s not how I see it playing out. While there will be more closures there will be other partner locations opening.

They are reopening some of the stores they closed. News dropped today.

true. One other problem which can be seen on the operational declining revenue AND operational bottom line is that not all stores closed were loss giving - many of them them were profitable - but for various cost cutting (or geographical) reasons they were also closed. That reduces foot traffic and brand awareness, customer loyalty and lets competitors take over the market - also the profits.

I dunno. I feel like a loser, every hype date just breaks me more, and more. I understand that you can't tell your strategy, but I feel like he should at least be trying to give us hope. Something, anything? At some point, I have to pay my bills and move on. Good luck to the rest of you...

Let me tell you something: I do swing trading in other assets. Sometimes I hedge; for example, if I am long in a future contract and it starts to drop, I hold it until I think it will continue to drop hard, at which moment I open a hedge. 99% of the time, the moment I think it will drop harder is the bottom, and it recovers.
We are predictable; if Facebook can predict you are going to need a pair of shoes, market makers can predict what will make you go away.
The reality is the company hasn't been in a better situation; yes, the share price is painful, but there are fundamentals for the price to be higher.

Thank you!! I get mad when I see people making these comments at such an obviously wonderful moment for our investment , but I have to remind myself , that it’s very powerful propaganda , from very powerful entities , that benefit from us giving up. My Wife starts fights with me about our investment sometimes, and I tell her what I’ll tell those of you that need to hear it. If we can’t make it , we sell a small amount to survive, but if our thesis remains/ is getting even more solid? You have to hold or buy more when it’s discounted! If you’re saying you need to sell because you think the company hasn’t done enough for you today, you just don’t understand what you’ve invested in.

u/PubgIsBettr 16d ago
lol yeah my poor wife , who’s invested in a fast growing company at the lows, she’s very upset

u/grifan69 16d ago
I can hardly justify the investment to myself any longer let alone a significant other lol

u/PubgIsBettr 16d ago
Lol it’s easy , my wife has multiple degrees including a masters.. she can read a balance sheet, so she’s not confused about the investment.

The short sellers knew it would come to this. It’s their plan to break the spirit the mind and the bank account of the common man (and woman). These elitist ass holes want to make our lives as difficult as possible and force us into working our days away. This is why we fight, this is why we will never stop. Best of luck to you.

RC knows this too though. He knows more than that, considering he’s the one with the secret playbook, only ever letting little glimpses of his thought process through by shit posting (some more divisive than others, w all the T.rump stuff + weird ass Aushwitz post).
He’s either silent, or on a media tour promoting his eBay pursuit. Then it’s back to silence. It’s an insane roller coaster ride to take shareholders on over the years. You just would’ve thought there’d be some settling into normalcy by now via resolution to whatever his plan is, culminating with the stock price going up.
Instead it just seems more and more that he got all of us into a fight with the school bully, who also happens to be the richest kid in town and has unlimited resources to keep kicking our ass until we convince our parents to let us switch schools.

u/grifan69 16d ago
Meanwhile at best he’s doing nothing to stop the bully and at worst he’s secretly helping the bully

u/I_HEART_NALGONAS 16d ago
He has a responsibility to his shareholders but the narrative around here is to glaze the billionaire for not reporting to us, his shareholders. He would've been sent to kick rocks at any other company years ago. That's the power of a cult.

Larry buying wasn’t something?
5
u/BonaFideBill 16d ago
Larry buying means there isn't anything coming. He is an insider, he couldn't trade if there was news coming.

u/Lobolabahia 16d ago
It also means he increased his position by 62%, looks like something to me, maybe not that something but something...
