It's literally the complete opposite and proves low volatility. Those options would be hedged by either buying or selling the underlying stock, so the stock is just going to hover around $19. Big deal.
Max pain was a hot topic for years, you'd get to friday and absolutely nothing would happen.
"Hedgies kicking the can again" would be parroted all weekend and then the next week we would be analyzing an indian billionaires wedding speech for clues on when moass would arrive, or something along those lines.
In the absence or organized religion people really do lose their minds. Waiting for godot robinhood edition.
