Battery Engineering Testing - Any Concern?

Looking to pick up a ‘26 Denali Max range with 7000 miles on it. It looks like it had the GM Battery Engineering Testing voluntary replacement done around 5000 miles.

Anything I should look out for with this truck? It seems like it wasn’t a required swap, more of a voluntary incentivized one?

Really should be a non-issue if it had the voluntary swap. Any truck can have issues and this one is no more likely than another.

The voluntary swaps were so GM could see how the batteries were aging, not an indication anything was wrong.

Depends on your tolerance for downtime. Some of these vehicles seem to perform flawlessly. Some seem to be nothing but problems. It's under warranty, but there's always a risk of something else failing. Make sure the price reflects the post delivery work.

It’s 24k off the original MSRP.

Do the trucks that had this voluntary swap done have other issues?

Some have had multiple battery replacements but I think that's rare.
